Web site goes live

On the 20th May the new TVS website went live. Members will have received a username and password by e-mail in the past few days. If you are a member and have not received your log-in details it means that we don't have your e-mail address! Please use the contact us button at the foot of the homepage to request your log-in details

Goodbye to Trudie and Welcome to Jane

The Annual General meeting of the Tissue Viability Society on the 27th April saw our chair Trudie Young come to the close of her two year term of office. Trudie has been a strong and vibrant Chair of the Society and the Trustees will miss her enthusiasm and drive for our Society. Our new Chair is well known in the field of Tissue Viability - Dr Jane Nixon from the Clinical Trials Research Unit at the University of Leeds. Release of seating guidelines

The Tissue Viability Society released its guidance on seating and pressure ulcers at the annual conference in Llandudno.

This work, a year in the making, has been strengthened through the comments from TVS members and the EPUAP and EWMA communities.
