Wounds: Issues and Challenges

Where: University of Hertfordshire, Hatfield
This course can be undertaken at degree level either as a stand-alone module or as part of a BSc programme.
The module aims to provide healthcare professionals with a thorough knowledge and understanding of fundamental wound care issues, including healing, assessment and dresssing selection. In addition we weill explore the evidence-base for managing everyday wound challenges such as high levels of exudate, malodour and non-viable tissues.
