Welcome to the 27th year of the Tissue Viability Society
The Tissue Viability Society was formed in 1981 to: 'disseminate information, promote research and increase awareness of all aspects of good clinical practice in wound prevention and management.'
We want to provide expertise in wound management to all health care professions involved with tissue viability.
What is Tissue Viability? This is a growing speciality that primarily considers all aspects of skin and soft tissue wounds including acute surgical wounds, pressure ulcers and all forms of leg ulceration.
The TVS website Our website provides general information to the public and supports our members through access to a wealth of educational resources and discussion groups. If you have any comments, please use our Contact us form. This web-site was designed by Baigent Ltd with content created by the Tissue Viability Society.
